Important notes:
• Apart from the lunch students must bring with them on Monday, send no food of any kind. Please consult your child's teacher regarding any strict dietary requirements. (Note: Astrocamp's wide variety of vegetarian fare meets kosher requirements)
• Everything your child packs for camp must be portable by your child--no adult assistance will be available for luggage-carrying. Also: in order to alleviate much stress on the day of our return, please show your child how to RE-PACK his/her sleeping bag (it's often harder than it looks!)
• Any medication to be taken while at camp must be turned over to your child's teacher, complete with explicit directions, and must conform to all standard LAUSD medication guidelines. Please contact our school nurse with any questions.
• Medical questionnaire is critical; the date of most recent tetanus shot and health insurance information are highly encouraged, but NOT required.
